Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota – Financial Women International announced the appointment of Regina Barr to a second term as the 2004-2005 Foundation Chair.

As Foundation Chair, Ms. Barr is responsible for day-to-day management of foundation activities as well as new product development, product marketing, and foundation research. In addition, she will be responsible for managing FWI’s international conference. Ms. Barr said, “Financial Women International’s Foundation continues to play a pivotal role in furthering the advancement of women in the financial services industry. Through our research and development of skills based programs, we not only identify the impediments that women face but provide them with the tools to overcome them.”

Ms. Barr is founder and president of Red Ladder, Inc., a consulting organization that helps companies grow their business by developing and inspiring their people. After spending over fourteen years in financial services in numerous leadership roles in product, sales, and marketing management, Regina now helps clients create organizational success through people. Services include consulting, workshops, keynotes, teambuilding and executive coaching.

Ms. Barr has been an FWI member since 1994 and has served in numerous leadership positions at the group, district and international levels.

The FWI Foundation, which was created in 1973, serves as the educational and research arm of FWI. Committed to professional growth, the FWI Foundation plays an instrumental role in fostering educational development for those working in and with the financial services industry. Founded in 1921 as the National Association of Bank Women, Financial Women International (FWI) is one of the oldest individual membership organizations of women financial executives.
